Uganda goalkeeper Abel Dhaira has tragically died aged 28

Uganda goalkeeper Abel Dhaira has tragically died aged 28. Dhaira, who played for Icelandic Premier League side IBV Vestmannaeyjar, passed away on Sunday after losing his battle with cancer. A statement by the Ugandan FA (Fufa) read: "Dhaira was a magnificent goalkeeper with so many tricks and always put on a smile irrespective of the results for his team. "We are saddened by the death of Dhaira and football will miss a keeper many people loved seeing saving penalties. "These are trying moments for the family of Abel Dhaira and football. When a loved one is gone, words of comfort mean a lot." Dhaira was capped 13 times by Uganda. A minute's silence will be held before Uganda's match against Burkina Faso on Tuesday.
